Welcome to Beltie Bees

We are located in the middle of Oklahoma and bring the magical joy of backyard beekeeping to "Newbees". Beekeeping is a fascinating and profitable hobby that almost anyone can easily enjoy from the comfort of their own backyard. Bee provide excellent benefits to a backyard garden, provide nutrient rich honey, and can even be a source of income with little to no ongoing expense to the beekeeper. Besides all that, they are fascinating and fun to watch as they enrich our environment.

How Do I start.....

We have assembled a beginners hive kit that has everything that new beekeepers will need to "get things going" for a backyard hive.

A NUC(leus) of bees

A NUC(leus) of bees contains a mated queen that is laying new eggs in a five frame box with a small hive of workers that are ready to literally "go to work" collecting nectar and pollen to produce both honey and rear new broods of bees.

Customized solutions

Most beekeepers will eventually reach a point that they need customized solutions for their "particular" needs based on where they live and the environment their bees are in. We are ready to help you if and when you need customized solutions like new queens, non-mated queens, and specific hive configurations.
If you have ever considered placing a backyard beehive at your place, we are ready to help you in any way you need so send us a note at beltiebees@gmail.com
