Description
We produce the BEST five (5) frame NUCs of bees available in our region. Beltie Bees are a gentle strain of bees that sting less often than any other strain of bees. This allows beekeeper, and casual observers alike, to not need to "suit up" to work the hives like most beekeepers are forced to do consequently, Beltie Bees are less expensive to own. Each NUC is filled with approximately two and a half (2.5) pounds of choice bees with two frames of capped brood and a frame of honey. The other two frames have choice wax foundation and a laying queen selected for her excellent laying pattern. Many beekeepers are able to make immediate splits!
